Founder & Meteorologist

Will Bratton is a meteorologist and storm chaser from St. Louis, MO, who earned his Bachelor of Science in Geosciences with a major in professional meteorology and a minor in mathematics from Mississippi State University in 2026 and is currently continuing his education, pursuing a thesis-based master’s degree in professional meteorology.

Lórien Gray is a meteorologist and storm chaser trainee with North Mississippi Storm Chasers. She was born and raised in Stantonville, TN until relocating to Corinth, MS in 2015. She recently graduated with a B.S. in Geosciences with a Professional Meteorology concentration from Mississippi State University, along with minors in Spanish Language and Geographic Information Systems. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree at MSU, with hopes to make meaningful contributions to severe weather outbreak research.

Blake is a freelance graphic designer and Computer Science major at Mississippi State University. Driven by a lifelong passion for weather, he vows to create clear, informative graphics that help the public understand weather events and potential hazards. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games, creating art, and developing software.

Benjamin Maier

Benjamin Maier

Director of Production

Benjamin Maier is a freelance video editor and Aerospace Engineering student at Mississippi State University producing content for Will Bratton WX. His editing roots trace back to a shared passion for esports with Will, and he brings that same drive to pushing the WBWX mission forward. Outside of work and school, Ben spends his time on single-player video games, drone photography, and content creation.

Brayden Oswalt, a Computer Science student at Mississippi State University, is dedicated to serving others, a value closely aligned with the WillBrattonWx mission. His primary mission in life is to impact as many people as possible in meaningful ways.

Joshua Britt is an award-winning creative and technologist based in Nashville, TN. A former Editor-in-Chief of The Reflector at Mississippi State University, he has earned national recognition for graphic design, web development, and innovation at the intersection of technology, business, and storytelling.

Taylor Hunn is a meteorologist and storm chaser in training with NMSC, originally from New Orleans, LA. She earned a B.S. in Geosciences from Mississippi State University and is currently pursuing a master’s degree. Passionate about advancing the understanding of severe weather, Taylor hopes to build a career in field research and contribute to meteorological studies in the years ahead.

Romeo is a recent graduate from Mississippi State University with a B.S. in Geosciences. He is driven by the unknown aspects of forecasting and is driven to learn more about the nuances of forecasting in hopes of learning more about his passion. Romeo likes to spend his free time making music and playing video games and learning about random niches he finds on YouTube.

Samuel is a student meteorologist currently attending Mississippi State University. He has an Associates of Science from New Mexico Military Institute and is working towards his B. S. in Geoscience with Professional Meteorology. Meteorology has been his passion since he was in the Second Grade and hopes to one day have a career in the United States Military as a Meteorologist.

Adrian Ronca-Hohn is a storm chaser with 6 years of experience, 3 professional, and serves as a team lead and trainer for the North Mississippi Storm Chasers. He is from the small town of Iuka, Mississippi, where he graduated from Tishomingo County High School and now raises his son, coaches football, and spends time outdoors. His field team includes Production Technician Timothy Kern and Field Research Scientists Lórien Gray and Taylor Hunn.

The apprentice and assistant to Adrian Ronca-Hohn, Timothy is relatively new to storm chasing—only starting a couple years ago. However, that has not kept his passion and drive for all things storms at bay. Falling in love with weather during the April 27th, 2011 Super Outbreak, the Huntsville Alabama native is a Professional and Broadcast Meteorology Major at Mississippi State and plans to graduate in 2028. Alongside Adrian, he has captured multiple notable tornadoes, including the Arnett, OK EF3, the Plevna, KS EF3, and the Kankakee, IL EF3.

Mark Sudduth is a hurricane researcher and storm chaser with nearly 30 years of experience documenting hurricanes and severe weather. He pioneered the use of unmanned live camera systems in extreme conditions and conducts hail research using high-resolution video. Sudduth holds a geography degree from UNC Wilmington and has accumulated several awards from local, state and federal agencies as well as numerous conferences.

Known on YouTube as Florida Man Weather, CJ was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has been fascinated by weather since childhood. He studied meteorology at Penn State before relocating to Sarasota County, Florida, in 2015. A member of the HurricaneTrack Severe Weather Team since 2022, CJ also chases solo across Florida, Georgia, and Alabama. His primary focus is severe weather and hurricanes.

Alan Geiger is a meteorologist, professional licensed storm chaser, and licensed first responder based in Iowa. With extensive experience in severe weather observation, forecasting, and public safety, he specializes in documenting, analyzing high-impact weather events across the Midwest.

Mason Gallusser is a storm chaser with Midwest Wx and a career Firefighter/EMT based in Kentucky. Born and raised in Louisville, he developed a passion for severe weather at an early age. Mason began chasing storms in Dixie Alley before expanding his pursuits into the Midwest. His dual background as a first responder and storm chaser gives him a first-hand perspective on the impacts of severe weather and the critical importance of timely and accurate information.

Specializing in radar interpretation, real-time storm monitoring, and live weather coverage, he works to deliver timely and reliable information during significant weather events. His passion for weather education and public safety drives his commitment to helping communities better understand and prepare for severe weather across the Midwest.

Norman Smith is a storm chaser and meteorology student at Ohio University, graduating in 2027. Based in southeast Ohio, he has spent more than five years chasing tornadoes and hurricanes with SevereStudios. A licensed Part 107 drone pilot and content creator, he is dedicated to improving severe weather awareness across rural Appalachia.

Jessica Moore is a Colorado-based meteorologist and storm chaser with 15 years of experience. A 2020 Mississippi State University graduate, she has documented extreme weather nationwide and provided flood forecasting in Colorado. Her work has appeared on major news networks, and she is passionate about using weather coverage, photography, and public outreach to help keep communities safe.
